How to use this in the classroom

Skip Sprint is a lane runner for times tables. Numbers appear in three lanes; students drive over only the multiples in the chosen times table, dodging the wrong numbers. Building combo streaks for consecutive correct multiples adds the arcade engagement layer that simple drill doesn't have.

Daily times-tables warm-up

Replace the standard times-tables drill at the start of a maths block. 5 minutes of Skip Sprint covers the same multiplication reps with engagement that holds Year 2–4 attention.

Individual fluency tracking

The score tracks progress over time — students compete with themselves rather than each other. Combo streaks make the 'I got the ×7 ones right' progress visible without you having to mark anything.

Catch-up at home

Strong recommendation to parents asking how to help with times tables — works on phones, no login, kids choose to play it.

What it builds

Times-tables fluency through pattern recognition. Skip Sprint specifically builds the 'next multiple after this one' skill, which is how working mathematicians actually use times tables — not as isolated facts but as a sequence pattern.
